. We are at the intersection of Waples Mill Rd and Rte 50 (Lee Jackson Hwy) next to Sleepy's Mattress in front of Pier 1 Imports. From 66 Take 50 East and turn right at the first light then an immediately left into the shopping center. From 236 bear left at 29 south then make a right onto Waples Mill Rd.

Why:

The Lead By Example Intramural Tournament is a fun school spirit event that promotes courage, sportsmanship, camaraderie, and gives awards. The LBEIT will determine which local martial arts school has the most school spirit. Students will earn points for their school for participating and for placing in the top 4 positions. Points will be tabulated throughout the day and the school with the most points at the end of the competition will be acknowledged as the CHAMPION SCHOOL and awarded the Champions Flag and Champions Cup.

Everyone can compete! You can go as your current rank or your previous rank.

Cost:

	No Registration after December 1^st and the Printed Applications must be submited to your Instructor on or before December 2^nd
Competitors:	Under Belts $40.00 on or before December 2^nd Black Belts $50.00 on or before December 2^nd
Spectators:	$5.00

9:00am	-	2nd Dan Black Belts	Granada, Gae Bek Forms
9:30am	-	1st Dan Black Belts	Beethoven, To San, Chung Mu Forms
10:00am	-	All Black Belts	Point Sparring
11:00am	-	Kneehigh White Belts	Ages 6 and Under, Kamsah/Basics/Bopper Spar
11:30am	-	Jr./Teen/Adult White	Ages 7 and Up, Kamsah/Basics/Bopper Spar
12:00pm	-	Gold Belts	All Ages, Jayoo no spins/Basics/Bopper/Pt Spar
12:30pm	-	Orange/Green/Purple	Chosang w/ Music and Beginner Pt. Sparring
1:30pm	-	Jungyee	Jungyee and Inermediate Point Sparring
2:30pm	-	Pyung Wa	Pyung Wa Form
3:00pm	-	Exodus	Exodus Form w/ Music and Advanced Pt. Sparring
Above times are APPROXIMATES, please arrive 30 minutes early and plan to stay at least 2 hours.

Everyone is a winner!

Participation trophies will be presented to each competitor at their schools.

Here's how it works: Each year, we get together for a friendly competition with each other and to help students develop confidence in their competitive skills. You don't need any prior tournament experience in order to compete. This is a great place to start! There are divisions for all ages and ranks and awards for all divisions. All the students from each school compete as a TEAM with all of the other schools for overall points. The school with the most points at the end of the tournament takes home the Lead by Example Champion Flag until the next Intramural!

This is a fun event! No matter what rank you are, everyone has an opportunity to compete with their own curriculum techniques and try their best to show their best! This is a great opportunity to meet other students and build friendships in a positive competitive environment.
